FAQ
When your Amazon ad campaign shows as Enabled but the Serving Status is "Not Delivering", it means the campaign is active in your account but not receiving any impressions. This can happen for several reasons. Hereโs a detailed breakdown of the most common causes and how to troubleshoot them:
1. Budget & Bidding Issues
Daily Budget Depleted or Too Low โ If your budget is too small compared to the competition, your ads might not enter the auction.
Bids Too Low โ If your keyword or product targeting bids are set below the market level, Amazon wonโt serve the ad.
Fix:
Check your budget usage in Campaign Manager. Consider increasing your daily budget or raising bids for underperforming keywords to be competitive.
2. Targeting & Keywords
No Relevant Keywords or ASINs โ If your targeting doesnโt match what shoppers are searching for, ads wonโt serve.
Negative Keywords Blocking Traffic โ Overly restrictive negative keywords can prevent impressions.
Fix:
Review your targeting report. Remove overly restrictive negatives, and add high-converting keywords from your Search Term Report.
3. Product Eligibility
Out of Stock โ Amazon wonโt advertise products that are unavailable.
Suppressed Listings โ If your product has missing attributes (e.g., main image, title), it may be suppressed.
Buy Box Lost โ Sponsored ads only run if you own the Buy Box.
Fix:
Check the product detail page for availability and suppression issues. Make sure youโre winning the Buy Box for the majority of the time.
4. Campaign Settings
Start/End Dates โ Your campaign may be outside its scheduled date range.
Paused Ad Groups or Targets โ Even if the campaign is enabled, paused ad groups or keywords will prevent delivery.
Paused Campaigns โ If the campaign is paused in Campaign Manager, no keywords or targets can serve ads, even if they appear as โActive.โ Resume the campaign for delivery to start.
Fix:
Verify that your ad groups, keywords, and product targeting are also active and within valid date ranges.
5. Low Relevance or Quality Score
If your product is not considered relevant for the chosen keywords, Amazon may not serve your ad at all.
Fix:
Optimize your listing (title, bullets, backend keywords) to match customer search terms. Improve product reviews and ratings to boost relevance.
โ Understanding these statuses helps you quickly diagnose delivery issues and take corrective action.
